This complete version of the song features a longer intro, a longer guitar solo and an additional keyboard solo performed by Luca Turilli. RHAPSODY are proud to present the new visual creation of the talented director OWE LINGVALL of DREAMDAY MEDIA (www.dreamdaymedia.com). It is the video realized for the song DARK FATE OF ATLANTIS, the first single extracted from the new album ASCENDING TO INFINITY, to be released on JUNE 22 by NUCLEAR BLAST. The song was edited and made shorter for the video while on the album it will appear in its original version of 6:29 minutes.
The members of Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY state: “This video represents just the first step of the collaboration between RHAPSODY and DREAMDAY MEDIA, the company of our friend Owe. He was just the right choice for a band willing to sound and look cinematic like ours. We share with him the passion for the cinema, we are amazed by his ability of turning our cinematic visions into reality and at the same time he loves the cinematic impact of our music. RHAPSODY ANNOUNCE THE NEW DRUMMER: ALEX LANDENBURG
“We tried it but we understood in a short time that it would have been really impossible to have our friend and drummer ALEX HOLZWARTH playing for both RHAPSODY and RHAPSODY OF FIRE. In these conditions there was simply no way to go on and right now, having two tour agencies working for us and starting the planning of the live activity, we agreed that the best is to keep the two bands completely independent from each other. That’s why some time ago we found the only possible solution. Alex Holzwarth will go on playing for RHAPSODY OF FIRE and this makes sense because also his brother is playing in that band too. From our side, after thanking Alex for all the wonderful moments shared together and to have recorded the new album showing once more all his great technical skill, we started looking around trying to find a special person that could have taken his important place. Well, we can tell you that we found that person and it is surely special, very special… honestly one of the best drummers around we had the chance to listen to.
Therefore we are really proud to announce that the new drummer and permanent band member of RHAPSODY will be Mr. ALEX LANDENBURG. We are honored to have Alex with us, we admire his unique talent and we are sure we will have a lot of fun together, in the years to come, on the stages of the whole world!”

PRE-SALES CONTEST AND FANTASIA GOTICA

From today you can finally pre-order your favorite edition of ASCENDING TO INFINITY on this same website!
In the beginning of next week a further news related with the pre-orders will be released as Nuclear Blast is actually linking the pre-order option to a special contest (that will take into proper consideration all the people who ordered an edition of the album from today of course).
As you can see from the sequence of songs listed in the NUCLEAR BLAST webshop, there is a little change in the order of the same album songs. FANTASIA GOTICA was removed at the very last minute from the album and this happened due to time problems related with the mix as we had a precise deadline to respect.
So the whole album will last around 6 minutes less than what previously announced, same for the limited edition.
But the good news is that just before the headliner tour FANTASIA GOTICA will be released together with another exclusive product we and NUCLEAR BLAST are preparing for you and that will be absolutely free for everybody. Yes, my friends, absolutely FREE FOR EVERYBODY!!!
